Heatwave Friday 21 October 2022 21:30 Boisdale of Canary Wharf Restaurant

Reservations from 5.30pm | Live Music 9.30pm
Heatwave’s
irresistible fusion of funk, disco and soul produced a seemingly endless parade
of instantly recognisable classics including Boogie Nights, The Groove Line and
Always And Forever. Formed in the mid-70s by brothers Johnnie and Keith Wilder
alongside legendary songwriter, Rod Temperton (who went on to pen some of
Michael Jackson’s biggest hits like Thriller, Off The Wall and Rock With You),
their music is now a permanent fixture on radio stations and dancefloors all
over the world. More than 40 years after they burst into the spotlight,
Heatwave are still firing on all cylinders with the same kinetic energy they
started out with.
