Making their hugely anticipated debut at Boisdale, Aswad are Britain’s most successful reggae band. In an illustrious career that stretches back to the mid-70s, they have worked with a long list of legends including Bob Marley, Dennis Brown and Burning Spear and produced a timeless run of reggae classics that have left an indelible mark on the musical landscape. From the pure roots of early singles like Back To Africa and 54-46 (Was My Number) through to chart topping singles such as Shine, Give A Little Love and Don’t Turn Around, Aswad’s unique combination of infectious tunes and positive energy puts them in a class of their own.
