Soul Immigrants Friday 19 June 2020 22:00 Boisdale of Belgravia

If you like your guitar groovy and the punchiest drums and bass, tonight's show will be just for you
Critically acclaimed group, The Soul Immigrants led by irrepressible frontman Emrys Baird, are a potent mixture of musical ideas, fusing urban rhythms, gritty P-funk, soul jazz,Latin and beyond. The band is one of London's longest-running funk bands, formed by Emrys & Nitin Sawhney. They are known more in Japan (signed to P-Vine Tokyo) than their own home turf. This will be a special late-night show, expect some exciting funk-filled, sassy grooves, heaps of audience participation and phenomenal soloing! For tonight’s show the trio team up with a former member and special guest on alto sax, Entropi's Dee Byrne.
