Tasting And Serving Whisky
Whether to drink whisky neat or with water is a constant question and talking point, what actually happens to a whisky when adding water ?Does it ‘open up’ a whisky or change it ? And what happens when adding ice ? Ian Wisniewski, the whisky expert, will tell you all about it.

On the evening we will be tasting 6 malts (three unpeated, two peated) and learn more about Ian's latest book on the market, the Whisky Dictionary.

The Whisky Dictionary (Octopus Publishing) looks at whiskies around the world, including Scotland, Ireland, Japan, USA, Australia, Europe and Scandinavia, covering history, production and ageing, whisky culture, tasting and serving whisky, choice of glassware, whisky cocktails, collecting whisky and whisky accessories.

The Whisky Dictionary An A–Z of whisky, from history & heritage to distilling & drinking by Ian Wisniewski, is published by Mitchell Beazley £15 www.octopusbooks.co.uk
