Boisdale of Canary Wharf welcomes two of British reggae’s most cherished voices for a special evening celebrating the timeless sound of Lovers Rock. Joining forces for this unique concert are pioneering singer-songwriter Paul Dawkins and acclaimed Lovers Rock queen Paulette Tajah, performing alongside the outstanding Zaine Band and hosted by reggae icon John McLean.
A highly influential figure on the British reggae scene, Paul Dawkins has spent more than five decades shaping the sound of Lovers Rock through his work as a singer, songwriter, musician and band member. Renowned for his smooth vocals and heartfelt songwriting, his music remains a cornerstone of the genre.

Joining him is Paulette Tajah, one of the defining voices of British Lovers Rock. With a recording career spanning more than forty years, she has captivated audiences with her distinctive blend of reggae, soul, gospel and R&B, earning her place among the genre’s most respected and enduring performers.
