Join us for an exceptional evening celebrating the remarkable craftsmanship of Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky and its acclaimed Octave Collection, a rare and innovative series of limited-edition whiskies designed for the true connoisseur.
Hosted by Andrew Sinat and Head of Spirits Ian Logan, guests will be guided through an extraordinary tasting journey exploring the unique “Octave Invigorated™” maturation process. Ian is the Senior Hospitality and Spirits Manager at Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, bringing nearly four decades of elite industry experience to the celebrated independent bottler. A globally respected authority on Scotch heritage, he directs the company's ultra premium spirits portfolio, including the acclaimed The Octave and Black Bull series, while simultaneously spearheading its expanding Scottish hospitality ventures.
The Octave range uses specifically crafted 60-litre octave casks for a short finishing period, gently expanding the flavour profile without overpowering the original distillery character. Built on the simple principle that smaller casks create greater interaction between wood and spirit over a shorter period of time, this innovative process allows for a faster melding of wood, air and alcohol, unlocking exceptional depth, richness and complexity in every dram.
